Seon Names Winners of 2014 Anti-Bullying Coloring Contest
Recently, Seon announced the winners of this year’s anti-bullying “A Bully-Free Zone” coloring contest at the NAPT Conference & Trade Show.
From School Tansportation News:
Held during National Bullying Prevention Month in October, the competition was a huge success, the company said, receiving more than 500 entries from school districts across the United States and Canada.
“We first launched an anti-bullying coloring contest in 2013 under the topic ‘Bullies Aren’t Cool’ to inspire educators, children, parents, and school bus transportation staff for a discussion and activities to prevent bullying,” said Lori Jetha, Seon’s marketing communications manager. “The contest was a success, and this year we organized it again to attract more attention to this important cause. Our team was impressed how creative the colorings were and how strongly both kids and adults cared about creating a safe community without bullying. We thank all the participants for their hard work!”
Based on creativity, coloring skill, and overall artistic abilities, Seon staff members chose winners in three age categories, as follows:
- 5–7 years old: Welden Wyse, 7 years old, Archibold School, Ohio
- 8–10 years old: Marianna Peralta, 10 years old, Collier Elementary, Arizona
- 11+ years: Cindy Tsou, 13 years old, Kapolei Middle School, Hawaii
