Safe Fleet Brings 360° View of Fleet Safety to Work Truck Market
BELTON, MO (February 19, 2016) — Safe Fleet, owner of a portfolio of brands that enhance safety for fleet vehicles, introduces inView 360™, a fleet monitoring and protection solution that gives fleet managers a 360 degree view of their fleet operations.
The inView 360 solution combines video surveillance and vehicle telematics technology to provide better fleet visibility to avoid accidents, protect employees and assets, improve fleet efficiency, and reduce insurance costs.
“The introduction of inView 360 embodies the reason we formed Safe Fleet,” says CEO John Knox of the 10-brand company formed in 2013. “Our vision is to build the world’s leading provider of safety solutions for fleet vehicles. With inView 360, we have a solution that provides enhanced safety for drivers and pedestrians and gives fleet managers a better view of fleet operations.”
Powered by Seon, a Safe Fleet brand and global leader in mobile video surveillance and fleet management technology, inView 360 is available for purchase for commercial vehicles through Prime Design, a Safe Fleet brand specializing in ergonomic ladder rack solutions.
At the heart of the inView 360 fleet safety solution is an Around Vehicle Monitoring (AVM) system that gives drivers a bird’s-eye view of their surroundings helping them to prevent collisions by eliminating vehicle blind spots. This system gives drivers the tools to ensure the safety of pedestrians and reduce the chance of vehicle scrapes and dings.
When combined with a digital video recorder, fleet directors can record and review video from the AVM system and other in-vehicle surveillance cameras to easily identify the cause of an accident. Playback software displays multiple camera angles and audio synchronized with vehicle telemetry data such as brake signals, vehicle speed, and GPS location giving fleet managers verifiable evidence to prove false claims and reduce insurance costs.
A powerful video management option lets fleet managers resolve reported incidents quickly by helping them locate the right fleet vehicle involved in an accident and automatically download video evidence via an industrial-grade Wi-Fi network.
The addition of live vehicle tracking option with a live video streaming feature, further improves fleet visibility by giving fleet managers a real-time view of their fleet operations. They can display all fleet vehicles in a map view and get real-time alerts and alarms, as well as tap into in-vehicle camera views to respond immediately to emergency situations and coach drivers in real time.
“We’re excited to introduce inView 360 at the 2016 Work Truck Show,” said Kevin Brady, inView 360 Solution Manager. “We’re leveraging Seon’s experience and number one position in mobile video surveillance systems for buses. I think fleet directors will be surprised at how comprehensive the solution is and how easy it will be to improve fleet safety and efficiency.”
