Grant review began August 1 and closed October 15, 2015. The applications contained a proposed education plan to reward positive student behavior, support emotionally distressed students, train bus drivers to prevent bullying, and teach empathy and compassion within the classroom.

“We thank all school districts who applied for the grant. Their submissions included some amazing ideas for building a safer environment for children,” says John R.
