You may be eligible for new ARP ESSER funds to upgrade student safety. On March 11, 2021, The American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act was signed into law. The $1.9 trillion package of assistance measures includes $122 billion for the ARP Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ARP ESSER) Fund. Funds are provided to State educational agencies and school districts to safely reopen and sustain the safe operation of schools. ARP ESSER funding will enable States and school districts, as well as schools, to support students who have been most impacted by COVID-19.
