AUTOMATICALLY ENFORCE BUS LANE RESTRICTIONS
Automatically Enforce Bus Lane Restrictions with Safe Fleet® ClearLane™
Are vehicles traveling or parked in bus lanes slowing down your routes? Keep your bus lanes clear for faster transit commute times by automatically detecting and issuing violation notices to vehicle owners who block bus lanes during enforcement periods.
EASE BUS LANE CONGESTION
Ensure your buses are the only vehicles in your dedicated bus lanes
INCREASE BUS SCHEDULE RELIABILITY
Clear dedicated bus lanes for bus use only, so you can keep routes on schedule and reduce passenger commute times.
IMPROVE THE PASSENGER EXPERIENCE
Shorten passenger commute times, reduce waits at the bus stop, and keep your routes on schedule for more consistent and reliable service.
LOWER OPERATING COSTS
Reduce idling in the bus-only lane and improve fuel usage and vehicle maintenance/operational costs.
HOW IT WORKS
The Safe Fleet ClearLane system installed on transit buses traveling in the bus-only lanes uses two types of bus-mounted cameras along with a purpose-built computer with internal sensors, a GPS receiver, and a cellular router. The front-facing camera provides context, recording video of the entire scene. The mobile Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) camera reads vehicle license plates. The context and ALPR cameras work in tandem, capturing the license plate details associated with any vehicle in violation of the posted bus lane restriction.
- Automatically detect a bus lane violation
- Capture license plate photo/video of vehicle infringement
- Deliver evidence to the ticketing system
HASSLE-FREE BUS LANE ENFORCEMENT
Keep unauthorized vehicles out of the bus lane and your transit routes on schedule
Advanced Video Technology
Powered by advanced algorithms as well as two different cameras, a purpose-built computer with inertial sensors, a GPS receiver, and a high-bandwidth cellular router for incredible data reliability.
Powerful Analytics = Incredible Accuracy
The system collects video and data such as license plate, vehicle, state of origin, vehicle position and uses a sophisticated algorithm and artificial intelligence modeling to achieve an average of 95% in vehicle detection and license plate accuracy.
The system uses powerful, redundant analytics processes to improve the accuracy of violation detection and license plate recognition.
Quick Playback
Agencies report a 10-30% improvement in travel time within weeks of implementation, which positively impacts the passenger experience.
